Week 8 – Run 4

Ran 4 miles in 38:32 with an average pace of 9:38/mile. (-11 Celcius)

My leg was bothering me before I left and the pain remained throughout my run, couldn’t seem to shake it. It was slower than I had hoped but still satisfactory. I don’t know how to feel about my long run tomorrow, I’ll be running 16 miles. It should take me about 2:30:00 but we’ll see.

Week 8 – Run 3

Ran 8 miles in 1:15:39 with an average pace of 9:27/mile. (-13 Celcius)

Everything went surprisingly well. I didn’t plan on running it this fast but my heart rate % stayed quite low so once again I ignored the watch and just ran what was comfortable. Around mile 6 I began to feel my knee again, just slightly. The temperature really started to bother me today. I think I got a chill early on at work and still haven’t quite shook it yet.

Other than that, good run. Enjoyed it.

Week 8 – Run 2

Ran 3 miles in 27:06 with an average pace of 9:02/mile. (-15 Celcius)

Good run, was supposed to run 9:30/mile but just ignored the watch and ran. Despite my 0:28/mile increase my heart rate still floated around 75% of max and for the most part stayed below it.

Week 8 – Run 1

Ran 6 miles in 59:09.

By far not a fast run. My knee really started to bother me around mile 3, I had been successfully ignoring it until then. The pain came and went throughout the rest of the run. Nice night though.
